Easter Seals Bay Area
Armiger’s primary focus is to oversee the continued growth of the organization’s existing scope of services, in particular early intervention and Easter Seals Bay Area's expanding occupational, physical, and speech therapy work.
Armiger brings a wealth of program management and organizational development experience to Easter Seals Bay Area. She began her career with Easter Seals 13 years ago as Director of Case Management, and eventually as Vice President of Program Services for Easter Seals Louisiana. Among other duties in this position, Armiger was responsible for establishing and licensing Case Management/Family Service Coordination sites throughout the state of Louisiana. She was also director of a federally funded project designed to stimulate the availability of early intervention services in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
Armiger has held top executive positions with two Easter Seals affiliates in Florida, successfully completing the merger of these organizations as President and CEO of one. She served as President and CEO of Easter Seals Tennessee through 2009, where, during her four year tenure, led the organization through significant structural and operational changes to ensure delivery of its core business while maintaining highest quality standards.
Armiger holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology from the University of Waikato, NZ. She joins Easter Seals Bay Area following a year of travel in her native New Zealand.
