Ashley Afonso is a Program Supervisor for Easter Seals Bay Area's South Bay Autism Project. Ashley has spent the last six years working with children with autism and other special needs in school, home and clinic-based settings. She previously worked as both a behaviorist and counselor in public school settings.  Ashley is enthusiastic about working closely with families to create the best solutions for their child and his/her individual needs and is also passionate about continuing to gain more knowledge to further support her clients and their families.

Ashley holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a Pupil Personnel Services Teaching Credential from San Jose State University, and is in the process of completing her BCBA from Penn State University. In her spare time Ashley coaches a competitive soccer team and enjoys running and spending time with family, friends and her dog.
